We are so happy to say that Cape May is finally reopening! Indoor retail shopping is allowed, many of your favorite restaurants are offering outdoor dining, Washington Street Mall is back in action, and the beaches are more than ready for you to enjoy. Here is a breakdown of everything going on in the spirit of the upcoming holiday weekend:
An Olde Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration
All members of the Cape May community are invited to join together in an Olde Fashioned celebration. There are several family-friendly festivities to participate in!

Live Music in Rotary Park (Free)
Washington Street Mall
As of June 15th stores are able to allow customers to shop inside, and many restaurants will be offering outside dining options! Shop for your summer necessities and enjoy the perfect weather with a nice al fresco meal.
Rotary Park Live Music
Stop by Rotary Park on Saturday and Sunday nights from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm for free concerts featuring local musicians. It's always a great experience and great family friendly event.
Cape May Beaches
All usual beach activity (walking, sitting, and sunbathing) are now permitted. Surfing is permitted at Poverty Beach, The Cove, Surfing Beach at Gurney Street, and South Queen. Fishing is also allowed before 10am and after 5:30pm!
Curbside Cocktails
The City of Cape May has relaxed many restrictions and will now allow guests who are 21 and over to purchase curbside cocktails and walk around much of the city with open containers. The area along Beach Avenue, between Perry Street and Decatur Street, is now offering an expanded pedestrian area for guests to relax and spread out (with a cocktail, if you so choose) inside of a barricaded area to protect pedestrians from street traffic. These open container laws also apply to the Washington Street Mall, Promenade and most areas around bars and restaurants.
