Wintertime in Cape May

Fighting the winter doldrums while dreaming of a time when the weather is warm and the town is bustling again? We are officially past the midpoint of winter, many of the restaurants and businesses at the beach are reopening, and the start of the summer season is just double digits away! Even in the off season the Jersey Shore offers so much to do. Coming up on February 27^th, is the Atlantic City Boat Show-find the boat of your dreams and everything to go with it…or just make a day of the event and browse around the assortment of outdoor gear and on-site activities. The Women in Business Conference is on March 7^th, women can enhance your personal and professional skills, feel empowered and inspired, and celebrate Women’s History Month. Want to have a few good laughs AND support a great cause? The Annual Comedy Night Social from the Police Athletic League of Cape May County takes place at Cape May Convention Hall on Friday, March 15^th.

With St. Patrick’s Day coming up there’s a few events that will get you feeling festive. The 3^rd Annual Carney’s St. Paddy’s Plunge and 5K Run is on March 16^th at 9am, benefiting the Cape May Food Closet. Participate in the plunge and run, or just cheer on your friends! There will be bag pipes, face paint, balloonists, magicians, live music, DJ’s, and St. Paddy’s themed food. Not in the plunging or running mood? The St. Patrick’s Day Celebration & Parade on March 16^th will begin on the front steps of the North Wildwood City Hall at 11:30am.
