What To Do During Fall In Cape May

Crisp air, beautiful colors, tons of open parking spots...that sounds like fall to us! The end of summer means saying goodbye to an amazing few months, but just because beach season is over doesn't mean there's less to do in Cape May! Our beach town is tons of fun in every season-here are some events you don't want to miss:
Cape May Oktoberfest, September 29th - Cape May's annual Oktoberfest will transfor Carpenter Lane into a German promenade with authentic music and food! Festivities will be located between Decatur & Jackson and continue down Jackson Street to Beach Ave. The event starts at 10am.
Autumn Crafts & Collectibles Show, September 29th - Celebrate the fall season with your family at the beautiful Emlen Physick Estate. Starting at 10am, Crafters and collectibles dealers from throughout the region display and sell their wares on the lawn.
Cape May Craft Beverage Festival, October 4th - Celebrate Cape May's craft beverage scene at Willow Creek Winery with four of our local breweries, two wineries, and a distillery at 6pm sharp. A ticket includes dinner, a craft beverage of your choice and a musical performance by Avi Wisnia.
The West Cape May Lima Bean Festival, October 6th- Cape May is the proud lima bean capital of the world and we are celebrating in Wilbraham Park! The 33rd Lima Bean Festival honors farming heritage with lots of lima bean inspired foods, jewelry, arts, crafts, and pottery. Live local musicians will entertain all day, starting at 9am.
Annual Pumpkin Festival, October 20th - Bring the whole family and enjoy pumpkin painting and games, from 10am until 4pm in Historic Cold Spring Village! A variety of crafters will also sell their wares along the Village's shell-paved lanes. Please remember to bring a non-perishable food item as a donation/entry fee.
Cape May Restaurant Weekend, November 3rd - A delicious four-day event that offers your choice of an appetizer, entree, and dessert for $35 per person at participating restaurants. Simply visit any participating restaurant during the event and you'll be presented with their fixed-price menu in addition to their regular menu.
